The catalogue stores no floor. This grouping is read off the first character of each identifier, which is a convention you chose and the software is only guessing at. Rename an instance and it moves; name one Annexe and it has nowhere to go.
A guest books Double Room and gets one of 101 to 105. Which one is decided at check-in, not at booking.
103 out of service takes one Double Room off those nights. The unit stays sellable — four instances still answer.
Sea view and land view are separate units because they carry separate prices, not separate instances of one room.
